Terms of Service

Untalk Therapy LLC · Focused Trauma Processing™ training

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your purchase of and participation in the Focused Trauma Processing™ (FTP) training programs offered by Untalk Therapy LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By registering for a webinar, purchasing a mini-course or bundle, enrolling in the live cohort, or using our member portal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not enroll.

2. Who may enroll

Our training is designed for licensed and pre-licensed clinicians, graduate students working under supervision, coaches, healers, and other professionals who work with people experiencing chronic distress. You must be at least 18 years old to enroll. You are responsible for determining whether the training is appropriate for your scope of practice, licensure, and local regulations.

3. What we provide

  • The TAPS Session Navigator™ webinar — a recorded introductory training, free to watch for 48 hours, with a clinical reference document. An optional paid upgrade adds lifetime access and the FTP™ Session Initiator Guide.
  • Self-paced mini-courses — individual modules, or the complete six-module series, delivered through our member portal with lifetime access.
  • The Live FTP Cohort — live small-group training sessions, coached practicum, session replays, community access, and the Certified FTP Practitioner track.

"Lifetime access" means access for as long as we continue to operate the program, which we anticipate offering indefinitely. If we ever discontinue a product, we will give participants at least 90 days’ notice and continued access during that period. Materials we designate as downloadable, such as worksheets, scripts and reference guides, may be saved; video recordings are not downloadable.

4. Educational purpose, not therapy. All FTP training is professional education. It is not psychotherapy, counseling, medical advice, supervision, or clinical consultation about any specific client. Enrolling in a course does not create a therapist–client relationship, a supervisory relationship, or a professional consulting relationship between you and Dave Ebaugh or Untalk Therapy LLC. Course exercises that ask you to work with your own material are educational and experiential; they are not treatment. If you experience distress during any exercise, stop and seek support from your own therapist or a qualified professional.

5. Your professional responsibility

You are solely responsible for your own clinical decisions and for the care of your clients. You agree to practice only within the boundaries of your license, training, competence, and applicable law, and to obtain your own supervision, consultation, and professional liability coverage as appropriate. Nothing in our training authorizes you to practice beyond your scope, and we make no representation that any technique is appropriate for any particular client or presentation.

6. Continuing education credits

Continuing education credits are offered for eligible programs as described on the relevant registration page. To receive credit you must meet the stated attendance and completion requirements, which may include attending live sessions, completing evaluations, and submitting any required documentation. There is no additional fee for continuing education credit.

  • Credits are issued only after all requirements are met.
  • You are responsible for confirming that credits from our approval body are accepted by your own licensing board.
  • Partial attendance may result in partial or no credit, in accordance with our approval body's rules.
  • We maintain attendance and completion records as required by our approval body.

7. Certified FTP Practitioner track

Cohort members may work toward the Certified FTP Practitioner designation by completing the requirements described at enrollment, which include a specified number of FTP sessions with clients and live demonstrations with a colleague. The designation reflects completion of our training requirements only. It is not a license, not a credential issued by any state board or national certifying body, and it does not expand your legal scope of practice. We reserve the right to decline, delay, or withdraw the designation where requirements have not been met or where conduct is inconsistent with these terms.

8. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars on each registration page and are charged at the time of purchase. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge the payment method you provide. Promotional pricing, early-bird rates, and coupon codes are valid only for the periods and conditions stated, and cannot be applied retroactively. We may change prices for future enrollments at any time.

A mini-course or bundle purchase counts toward Live FTP Cohort tuition if you enroll within 12 months of purchase. The credit equals the amount you paid and applies once. When special or early-bird pricing applies, you pay whichever is lower: that price, or regular tuition minus your credit. The two cannot be combined. If you purchased before September 28, 2026, you have 12 months from the date we notify you of this policy.

Installment options at checkout are provided by third-party lenders under their own terms. A refund is returned through that provider, and your agreement with them continues until it is processed.

9. Refunds and guarantee

Self-paced mini-courses and bundles

Self-paced mini-courses and bundles are delivered with instant access, and all sales are final.

Webinar upgrade

The TAPS webinar upgrade is delivered with instant access, and all sales are final.

Live cohort

Cancel within 14 days after your cohort’s first session for a full refund. After that, tuition is non-refundable, but you may transfer once to a later cohort. If we cancel a cohort, you receive a full refund. Access to the bonus mini-courses and session replays ends when a refund is issued.

If we substantially change a cohort’s schedule and you cannot attend the new dates, you may transfer to a later cohort or receive a full refund.

Participation guarantee: if you attend all six live sessions, receive coaching at least three times during those sessions, and complete the full 12 hours of recorded course content, and still feel the course hasn’t helped you grow as a therapist, we will refund your tuition.

A tuition refund does not cancel continuing education credit already issued. CE credit has no separate cash value.

Free webinar

The TAPS Session Navigator™ webinar is free to watch for 48 hours from sign-up. No payment is taken and no refund applies.

To request a refund, email [email protected] from the address used at purchase.

10. Live cohort participation

Live sessions are scheduled at the dates and times published at enrollment. We make reasonable efforts to hold every session as scheduled, and we will notify participants promptly if a session must be rescheduled. Replays are made available to enrolled participants. Missing a live session does not entitle you to a refund, though it may affect CE eligibility as described above.

11. Recordings and confidentiality

Live cohort sessions are recorded so they can be shared as replays with enrolled participants. By attending, you consent to being recorded, including your video, audio, and chat contributions.

Recordings are shared as replays with that cohort’s enrolled participants and remain available for one year. You may turn off your camera at any time, and you may ask that a personal segment not be recorded. A spoken notice is given when recording starts.

Confidentiality is required. Practicum, demonstrations, and group discussions may involve participants sharing personal material or clinical experiences. You agree to keep everything shared by other participants strictly confidential, to protect the identity of any client discussed, and never to record, screenshot, download, or redistribute any session, replay, or community content. This obligation continues after the program ends.

When discussing your own clients, you are responsible for removing identifying details and complying with your own confidentiality and privacy obligations.

12. Account and access

Your member portal account is personal to you. You may not share your login, transfer your enrollment, or provide access to anyone else. Course access is licensed to one individual; if multiple people from an organization wish to train, each must enroll separately. Group rates are available on request. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

13. Intellectual property

Our original materials. Untalk Therapy LLC owns the original course materials it creates, including its recorded training sessions, original worksheets, scripts, slides, and written materials, except where otherwise identified. These materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Focused Trauma Processing™, TAPS Session Navigator™ and the Colored Dots Tool are names and marks of Untalk Therapy LLC.

Third-party materials. The training may also include or link to third-party materials, including YouTube videos, published articles, and PDF excerpts. These materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. We do not claim ownership of third-party materials. Their use is subject to applicable law and any permissions, licenses, or platform terms governing those materials. Inclusion in the course does not imply endorsement by their creators or publishers.

Your permitted use. Upon purchase, you receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access our original course materials for your own professional development and to apply the methods taught within your lawful scope of practice. You may download or print materials expressly designated for that purpose. Access to third-party materials does not grant you additional rights to copy, distribute, modify, or otherwise reuse them beyond what applicable law or the relevant rights holder permits.

You may not:

  • Copy, share, resell, sublicense, or publicly post the materials.
  • Record, download, or redistribute videos or live sessions.
  • Teach, train, or certify others in FTP, or present the material as your own curriculum, without our written permission.
  • Use our trademarks or the Certified FTP Practitioner designation in a way that is inaccurate or implies endorsement you have not earned.

14. Acceptable use

In live sessions, the community, and all communications with us, you agree to behave professionally and respectfully, to refrain from harassment or discriminatory conduct, and to comply with your own professional code of ethics.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, without refund, if you materially breach these terms — including sharing credentials, redistributing materials, breaching the confidentiality of other participants, or engaging in conduct that is harmful or disruptive. Where the breach is minor and correctable, we will normally contact you first.

16. Disclaimers

The training is provided "as is" and "as available." While our materials draw on the research and clinical experience described in the courses, we make no guarantee of any particular clinical outcome, professional result, income, or business result from taking our training. Results depend on your own skill, judgment, effort, client population, and many factors outside our control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

17. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Untalk Therapy LLC and Dave Ebaugh will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or professional opportunity, arising out of or relating to the training. Our total liability for any claim relating to the training will not exceed the amount you paid us for the program giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Untalk Therapy LLC, Dave Ebaugh, and anyone working with us from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your clinical work with your own clients, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right. This does not apply to claims caused by our own negligence or misconduct.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our programs evolve. The version posted at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. We will update the date below when changes are made, and will make a reasonable effort to notify enrolled participants of significant changes.

21. Complaints

If you have a concern about a program, email [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within five business days and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
