Untalk Therapy LLC · Focused Trauma Processing™ training

1. Who we are

This website and the Focused Trauma Processing™ (FTP) training programs are operated by Untalk Therapy LLC, founded by Dave Ebaugh, LCSW, located in Portland, Oregon. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Untalk Therapy LLC.

We can be reached at [email protected] or 844-698-1998.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains how we handle information collected through our training websites, order forms, surveys, webinars, member portal, and related communications.

Important distinction. Our training programs are professional education for clinicians and other helping professionals. They are not therapy, and purchasing or participating in a course does not create a therapist–client relationship with Dave Ebaugh or Untalk Therapy LLC. Information you provide as a training participant is not treated as protected health information (PHI) under HIPAA. If you are a client of Dave Ebaugh's clinical practice, that relationship is governed separately by the practice's own Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided to clients directly.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number, and mailing or billing address when you register, purchase, or contact us.
  • Professional details — your license type, credentials, practice setting, or years of experience when you choose to share them in a survey, registration form, or CE record.
  • Survey and form responses — answers you submit through interest surveys, intake forms, or feedback requests.
  • Communications — emails, text messages, voicemails, and messages you send us, including questions asked during live sessions.
  • Live session participation — if you take part in the live cohort, your presence, video, audio, and chat contributions may be recorded (see our Terms of Service for details on recordings).

Payment information

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processors. We do not collect or store your full card number. We receive limited transaction details such as the last four digits of your card, the amount, the date, and whether the payment succeeded.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser type, operating system, and IP address.
  • Pages visited, links clicked, time spent, and referring website.
  • Email engagement such as whether a message was opened or a link was clicked.
  • Course progress inside the member portal, such as which lessons you have viewed or completed.

4. How we use your information

  • To deliver what you purchased — granting course access, sending login details, scheduling live sessions, and providing replays and materials.
  • To issue and document continuing education credits, including maintaining attendance and completion records required by our CE approval body.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your questions.
  • To process payments, issue receipts, and handle refunds.
  • To send you training updates, new course announcements, and related offers, where permitted (see below).
  • To improve our courses and website, including understanding which content is most useful.
  • To meet legal, tax, accreditation, and professional recordkeeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade your contact details to third parties for their own marketing.

When you register, purchase, or opt in, we may send you emails and, where you have consented, text messages about our training programs.

  • Email — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time, and we will still send transactional messages related to purchases you have made, such as access details and receipts.
  • Text messages — if you opt in to SMS, message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Message frequency varies.

6. Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed for them to perform their function:

  • Website, CRM, and course platform — hosting our pages, forms, member portal, and email delivery.
  • Payment processors — handling transactions securely.
  • Video and webinar providers — hosting recorded lessons and live sessions.
  • Professional advisors — accountants, attorneys, or insurers, where reasonably necessary.
  • Continuing education approval bodies — where required to verify or audit CE records.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person.

7. Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the site, and measure the performance of our marketing. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Some features, such as the member portal, may not work correctly if you disable them.

8. How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the training you purchased, which includes lifetime access products. We keep transaction and CE completion records for the periods required by tax law and by our continuing education approval body. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details.

9. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls limited to people who need the information to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law or for CE documentation.
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
  • Ask us to restrict or object to certain uses of your information.

To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before we act. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

11. Children's privacy

Our training is intended for licensed and pre-licensed professionals, graduate students, and other adult helping professionals. Our services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our training programs and legal obligations evolve. When we do, we will revise the date below. If the changes are significant, we will make a reasonable effort to notify registered participants by email.
